Welcome to Crafters Colombo
We are a community of artists/crafters in Sri Lanka, based in Colombo who are working tirelessly to bring back the art of crafting back into the lives of our youth.
This is our country... yes we know! its very tiny! We are Tiny but Talented :)
We come from various different fields of work but have come across each other through our love for creating things and we aspire to continue and to spread the craft-love further more...
We love Handmade products - Each Handmade product has a story of their own - We value the process of how the artist use his/her hand to translate an idea into something tangible and to offer it to a consumer who truly admires the time and effort that has gone into the making of that product.
Last but not least, our mission is to
- Promote a wide range of crafting skills that are incorporated into contemporary products.
- Give Exposure to the artists of our community.
- Influence the youth in our community to spend time creating things as their hobbies.
